  Our client is a £multi-million consultancy within the food industry. Their focus is to drive change and to advise retailers and fmcg companies on best practice across a wide range of industry initiatives involving environment, economy and social issues. As part of their expansion programme they are now keen to recruit a Category & Solutions Manager to be at the heart of both the clients commercial products and their internal decision making.
    
  A key aspect of the role will be to provide customer strategies for fmcg clients within the food and drinks sectors, delivering category, commercial, and retailer solutions. This will include strategy development projects and performance improvement initiatives, as well as supporting product innovation and driving new profitable revenue streams.
    
  To apply, it is likely you will currently be in a Category Management or Buying role and understand the commercial interface between retailers and fmcg manufacturers. You will possess a sound understanding of grocery retail trends and have good problem-solving skills and a customer first mindset. You will also have good presentation skills, with the ability to communicate to senior audiences, virtually or in person.
    
  This is a hybrid role. Our client is based in a very accessible location within the M25, just 20 miles from central London.
