  Our client is a £multi-million consultancy within the food industry. Their focus is to drive change and to advise retailers and fmcg companies on best practice across a wide range of industry initiatives involving environment, economy and social issues. As part of their expansion programme they are now keen to recruit an Analytics Leader to be at the heart of both the clients commercial products and their internal decision making.

  The primary focus of the role will require a broad data science skill set. You will have a background in statistical analysis techniques, with capability across the core areas of data analytics, machine learning, modelling and forecasting and reporting. You will be accountable for the technical approach and methodology across all the companys’ commercial data solutions and customer analytics, and lead on where the business can drive efficiency and automation in order to optimise the value of the data assets. As part of the remit, you will also work with the Data Product Managers to translate customer requirements into effective data solutions and support the business in interacting with the customer base.
  To apply, you will have already gained good experience within a data science or analytics role, possess a good understanding of econometric modelling and softwares and be familiar with a wide range of business intelligence and analytics tools. Coding abilities in Python and/or R and SQL would also be useful. Self-motivated, a problem solver, with an interest in keeping up with the latest techniques would also be useful.
  This is a hybrid role.
